Mooretown Welcomes Senator Adam Schiff for a Tour

Mooretown was proud to host Senator Adam Schiff and his wife, Eve, for a visit to the

Mooretown Tribal Cultural Landscape and Kanaka Peak. Mooretown shared information about

the impacts of the devastating North Complex Fire, and the Tribe’s work to improve forest

health and landscape stewardship, on its own lands and through partnerships with the Forest

Service and Bureau of Land Management.
